Dell Laptop User Thread

I did buy a M1210 Dell during the IT Show. Did feel very happy as it call me up and comfirm my order will sent tomorrow. Within 4day, they can sent my order to me, i rather impress with that. Cos with the huge amount of order in that show, their processing is rather good. I feel the weight for this set is rather ok, what impt to me is the preforment.
Anyone have any comment abt this set?

What I like:
Very Cool laptop even for its Size(Esp with I8kFanGUI)
Full Keyboard which not many 12.1" comes with
Nice MousePad Button, soft
Unlocked Graphics driver that can be OC
9 Cells last me 5.5hours
Great Tech Support from Dell
Better Built Quality(compared to some other plastic-y laptop. Eg. ACER)
Multi-audio Output, supporting 5.1 Speakers or 2 headphones
Better value for $$$ Gaming laptop in the 12.1" market

What I dont like:
Screen Vertical viewing angle could be better(but not the worst I have seen)
Bad Speakers

The basic O/S is Windows Vista Home.

You can however customise it with any one of the three offered.

I have juz bought 2x 1gb 667mhz notebook ram from BB at $98 each stick! However, beware their attitude sucks BIG time!!! Will post the result after i installed them in my precious xps m1210...

Haha! Successfully installed!!! Once again, task accomplished with the helpful assistance of dell phone support. Good job by dell support.

u are right, the viewing angle is not so good. however it does not really matter cos i dun view my laptop sideways...

other than that. DELL gets a thumbs up from me! =)

hi all, im new here.. has been using dell inspiron 6400 for 4 months now and im very happy with it

suddenly have the urge to add some design to my laptop (eg. decorate with vinyl stickers).. any idea will that void the warranty? there's also dell quicksnap colour kit for inspiron ya? any idea where to get that too? thanks in advance

You must have major credit card they support in order to have the installments, I'm on the plan as well : ) paying at 130 or something dollars haha forgotten....anyways its better than for situations when you're short on cash yet in need of a laptop.
