I'm from Malaysia, so according to Dell MY, this kind of spec costs RM5737.00 (S$2494.00)

And I think it won't play C&C3 cuz that's some high end game. BUT since I've not yet even own this system I guess I can't say anything bout that...

And yeah that's what the result has been, that showing Vista is indeed slower than XP in every other way.

So yeah that's why anyone has configured this kind of specs (or almost the same), I would really appreciate your experience with it, esp in gaming.

Thanks.

EDIT: Yeap just read dennis009's post saying C&C3 is playable so I guess it is then :p

Dell XPS M1210

Really impressed with Dell XPS M1210!!!

Would like to ask if ordering online is the only way to purchase Dell lapptops? Is there any authorized dealer outlets that sell Dell XPS M1210?

YES ****!!!!

I'm so getting one this week. WOOT!!!!! That saves me like RM500!!!! Been waiting for so long man hehehe wanna cry already...

Anyways FYI, Dells closes down their server around 12am and reopens at 3am, but during that time even though you cannot configure your custom machine you can view the offers being made hehehe.

Or should I wait till Santa Rosa comes out? **** dilemma again.

Use Acronis 10 (Trial Version) to backup before you install Vista.

1. Download Acronis 10 Trial Version

http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/download/trueimage/

2. Install Acronis 10

3. Create Rescue CD and keep in a safe place (very important)

4. Backup your complete drive to an eternal drive; make 2 images to be safe

5. You can now install Vista

If you want to revert back to Windows XP, you can use the Rescue disk to restore your Windows XP from the external drive.
