Thanks for the replies.

OK; I see what you mean. For the M1210, it seems there is no hotkey to disable Bluetooth:

However, there is a dedicated wireless device slider on the side of the notebook, and configures using the same Quickset or Bios. I'm guessing for the M1210, the slider replaces the FN-F2.

You can also set Hotkey in BIOS

i'm also considering a 6400. promotion is ending 14th May.

Total Cost is around 1.7K with ATI X1400 and T5300 upgrade.

Should i decide now or wait? thanks!

Cloning the hard disk

I wanna ask you all for this advice ya?

Suppose I ordered a new laptop and I wanted to replace the hard disk (80GB 5400rpm) with another drive (160GB 7200rpm) that I bought from other vendors.

What software do I need to have to copy everything (everything including drivers, OS, softwares or even the BIOS etc etc) from the original to the new one?

P/S: I already have an external hdd casing.

CLONING STEP BY STEP

1. Load Acronis from Rescue CD

2. Clone laptop hard disk to external hard disk

3. Do not reboot computer; shut down

4. Remove hard disk from laptop

5. Replace with external hard disk

6. Bootup new hard disk

Yup, its more expensive, but well, been using it for years since Norton Ghost v8, so might as well continue using.

Nothing wrong with that.

I started with Dirve Image 2002>Acronis 7 (free)>Acronis 9>Acronis 10 (free upgrade)

But now I mainly use my external 2.5" portable HDD to do my ghosting.

Bootup from USB External Hard Drive, auto load Ghost and start cloning...

So every week I'll let my lappie run overnight to do the ghosting...

:D
