cannot install nvidia 175.16 driver on my dell 1520. anyone can help...

You need to be more specific in your question. How did you install the driver? Where did you obtain the driver from? Is the driver digitally signed? What are the steps you take to install the driver?

Also, you might want to consider downloading drivers from LaptopVideo2Go.com They seem to provide better gaming performance than the normal factory shipped drivers you get from Dell. They have steps to teach you how to install the drivers step by step with screenshots and pictures. I have an Inspiron 1720 and I'm using drivers from that website. I ran 3DMark06 and got a way much higher score with the different driver than what its originally shipped.

I'm tinking of buying the xps m1530 through online, just wondering if it's worth to upgrade/extend the warranty. ATM they're providing a "1-yr xps premier service wif 1-yr complete cover" :s11:

Also, where is dell service centre located at ?_?

Received the M1530 through the delivery man today. Extremely satisfied with the purchase. I would say that it is one of the better Windows laptops on the market right now.

Mine is basically the 2.0Ghz version you see on the website. Did not change any of the specifications except upgrading the monitor to a 1440x900 resolution. The rest are per normal.

how much did u pay for it?

and, there's no such thing as "per normal". dell laptops are customizable so the specs vary unless you bought the preconfigured one from courts.

you try ask someone else to try and see if it responds. if it does the problem lies in your finger lor. i tried before because my finger not enough moisture so didnt respond

I'm either getting blue or red. Finger-print proof. That's the main reason. Heh.

I guess "normal" would mean the cheapest options available, i.e. the model that it pre-selected for you when you want to purchase from the online store.

Paid a total of $2,200.

Really liked the service of Dell. Enjoyed the purchasing process tremendously.

hi i'm kinda noob in the computer field, hope u guys will not be angry. anyway i was looking at the dell inspiron 1420. the processor spec said Intel® Centrino® Processor Technology - Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T7250. i drop by a nearby dell retailer and on the laptop it has this label sticker saying intel centrino, instead of the intel core 2 duo label sticker that is shown on the dell website. may i know if there is any difference?
