Sorrie another dumb questions -

I'm using in my office an Acer lappy using 1.73Ghz, 1Gb ram (533mhz). If i get the 1Gb ram (533mhz) ram for my dell i6000, i will be left with 2x 256mb (400mhz) rams. i intend to use them on both system.


Will the 256mb (400mhz) be able to run on the Acer lappy? Will the Acer lappy be slow down by the 256mb (400mhz) ram?

533Mhz are DDR2 rams..

400Mhz are DDR rams..

so i htink can't use it..

Only when you press the button. Hold for a few seconds and you'll see the batt status.

haha...the batt has a charge indicator, right?
This indicator has an icon there, right?
Press that icon, to see the battery's power.

It's possible to DIY on your DELL lappy? I'm thinking of changing the video card on my i9300 to a Nvidia card. I've never DIY upgrade a lappy before.

u sure? If I remember correctly, there was something said about the new 9300 or XPS having modular graphics cards that could be switched out? Not sure though.

Mine : Inspirion 6000 1.86G 1GMB 80GB DVD RW
So far so good except the Numlk key function need to hold down FN key while using this function. Anyone have any idea of other model / brand also so Leh Ceh ? So far Dell was one of the out of 6 brands I used like that.......

You can change this in the bios so that your Num Lk key can be toggled on or off to use the number keys...
