Ehh BTW.. IBM and Acer got their own sub-forum... why Dell one don't have? Have to pay si bo? If have to pay how much? I think Dell should have a sub-forum too, since so many Dell users, not just laptops, but desktop and server.

I support the idea. Me own a i630m (less than 2weeks old) and planning to get a Dell Dimension 9150 or better by the end of next year. :s8: Do we have enough Dell users to justifiy a sub-forum. :s11: Anyway, this thread is very active and hopefully the HWZ moderators will consider starting a Dell sub-forum. :D

Request (many) to have a DELL sub-forum were being 'missed' by the management. Mr DELL should be a DELUXE MEMBER.

i just received my i 6000 this evening, must say im very happy with it , except for one little thing,

did anyone here upgrade to the higher resolution screen? ( 1680 x 1050 )
is this screen suppose to be shiny glossy type? :(

mine display come with the 1680 x 1050 resolution but its the conventional matt type.

is the shiny type only limited to certain models like the small ultraportable one? think i saw it at the sitex show comes with glossy screen .
glossy is for 710m :)

I also have an i6000 and a D9150. The 9150 power supply only 350W. Inside has a lot of space. Don't know when populated the 350W can take it or not? It is quite quiet.

Anyone know where can find info on D9150 motherboard connector/header? Is there any header for internal USB connection?

Latitude D610 here...bought in June 2005. The screen is giving funny horizontal rainbow colour stripes since I've bought it....dVd drive can't read the latest DVD-R from maxell. However the battery is quite durable...compared to other brands.

Call Dell up and they'll change the LCD & DVD Drive following the next business day, or which ever is closest to your warranty.
