nero needs moneyyyy....trial version is only for a month....
It's not clear what you want leh: (a) you have .iso file and you want a sw to burn them to CD/DVD, or (b) you want a sw to convert VCDs into DVD.

For (a), as I suggested in your other thread, you can try DVD Decrypter.
For (b), you will need a conversion tool and DVD authoring sw (which lets you create the DVD menu as well). The Windows Movier Maker (comes included on WinXP) can do some conversion too.

BTW, you Dell laptop comes with Roxio sw? Mine are all Sonic, which can burn .iso.

Wierd indeed. Sonic, Roxio, Ahead (maker of Nero) are different companies. Maybe you have installed some other sw/shareware and gotten them mixed up.

My Dell laptops come with the "RecordNow" software made by Sonic. (Full name of the software seem to be "Sonic DigitalMedia LE v7", the start menu shortcut I use is labelled "RecordNow Data".) Using this software, I would choose "Copy" on the left panel, and then "Burn Image", select the .iso file, and proceed to burn.

i'm using 640m... these icons can be seen on the desktop: "MyDVD Le", by Roxio & "Burn CDS & DVDs", by Sonic Solutions (Roxio). haha... think you need to use "MyDVD Le" :)
Sonic & Roxio think from same company ba... cause the product registration confirmation page shows their products together de...

Looks like Sonic might have bought over Roxio (or the other way round). Mine's a 630m, still the Sonic sw.

Anyway, if that doesn't work, look for the freeware "DVD Decrypter" (google for it). It does burning of .iso, and a lot more.

dvd decrypter is no longer freeware?

myDVD Le is hard to use and there is no options for burning iso, i am using the "Burn CDS & DVDs". Anyway theres a problem with using that too, cos it says copy a vcd and insert a blank disc, it always reject my disc, wonder if thats a cause for concern...
