Hmm the 3GB ram is for the more expensive performance 1420. I brought the mainstream 1420.

Eh mine 1420 nt tat high end also. 2MB cache nia, a graphic card and wireless N mini card with 3years completecover warranty. Although nt tat high end but still like it alot as "she" is my 1st laptop. Hehe

Dell was notorious for poor quality notebook, not sure if it has improve now with XPS and Vostro series...

The built and speakers are much better compared to my Asus W3 imo......

really? I'm looking at the vostro 1400 with Intel C2D Processor T5270. Its selling at $1,099. Which I thought is a good price. Was it cheaper before?

previously (last week i order) the price is $1199 for

C2D T7250
160GB HDD

so for the same spec last week, now is $1518
