Help..

Hi..

I bought Dell 1420 lappy & happy wif it. Other than the pre-installed software, recently i encounter problems in installing software like ADOBE Acrobat, Flash etc.

After running the installation procedure, there will be a prompt stating as follows:

Error 1935 or 1603
An error occurred during installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC80.CRT,version="8.0.50727.163",type="win32",publicKey Token="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="X86". Please refer to Help & Support. (I can't find any help topics to solve tis...)

Then it prompt again stating as:
'Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run setup again.'

What does it meant by my system has not been modified? I can't work cos i can't view any pdf file w/o acrobat reader or any other software i'm tryin to installed.

Anyone can help me?:s11:

Tq.

Actually I'm in the midst of getting another dell laptop, should I include extra memory in this package? will it be cheaper? it cost $97.37 for 2x 1G ram from dell together with new laptop.... or should I buy separately from outside shop?

i tot have to buy the wan card separately?

Yupz ... My understanding is you will need a WWAN card together with the data SIM to work.
But, too bad, our local ISP do not have WWAN mini card for our lappy ...
