Acer 4.8 smartphone

There seems to be something seriously wrong with Dell streak. Nobody in Dell or SH
seems to know what is happening. Is this the way to treat the customers.
Maybe we should just cancel the pre-order and look for a better alternative.

Read that Acer will be coming out with a 4.8 inch tablet smartphone next year and will better in terms of resolution than Dell. Other specs should also be better.

Perhaps we just have to wait a few months for Acer Tablet phone.

just wanna check wif those Streak users here, can the Streak made video over 3G?

You mean video call over 3G right? I think so, but only with third party app at the moment like fring. Official support will come. Gingerbread is going to support video call

oh?? i thought can just make video call like my Galaxy S to, for example nokia N8, or other non-smartphones.

Still no status?

Any one got any update when the Dell streak will be ready for collection. Seem like no news so far even though the SH website says delivery starts from 18dec. Also no number to call to enquire.

I received a call from SH. they will deliver mine on Dec 21.

I have still not received the call. Wonder if we self collect when is the earliest date...

There isn't any build in video calling function for streak. Maybe samsung has it own app for video calling but like i say you can alway install fring for android market and its free. For what i know up till 2.2 Android doesn't really support video call yet. But it will change once 2.3 drops.....

Otterbox commuter itself cost 34.95usd.

- Revised Date: 17-Dec (Fri, tmr)
