I received a call today around 4:30pm they told me shipment delay will update me again when shipment arrive but never said when is the actual date. My delivery date 16th Dec but the only thing is my contract date will be drag toward end of the month which I don't want.

That is why you have to self collect, if you don't want to delay/extend your contract date. I think you should call them back to ask when can you self-collect instead.

Delivery date confirmed?

I saw star hub dell streak website today that says delivery will starts
from 18 Dec onwards (Previously before the shipment delay, it was 13 Dec).

Is this new date confirmed? Anyone heard from Star hub on the new date?

This is the cause of the delay.

SH did not do a good job before committing delivery dates.

It will be natural for SH to get some form of compensation from Dxll for the delay and inconvenience. So wonder what form of compensation will SH provide us?

I second zhuozhi211, but based on the link that gpmg762 gave, it seems that they only do shipping to US. If we were to use vpost, it'll be pretty ex and there's always a possibility of getting our delivery lost :(

Seems like no one knows when the shipment arrives. Perhaps next year,
I was told by one of the sales consultant!!

Phone don't come than I will use it with my slacker but I have a commuter otterbox that I will definitely need to sell. :)
The otterbox bulit is very "solid", plus got a screen protector (don't know if SH package comes with one).
