Thanks for the prompt reply. i am using it for my desktop. And if i am not using it for my desktop i want to use it for my apple tv 2.

Then u shld be plugging 2 different cables into the Dell U2312HM, lyk DP cable and DVI cable or something. Then when u need to toggle from desktop to Apple TV, just change the input settings via the U2312HM on-screen menu. No need to buy extra stuff to do such toggling. That's y they provide u with more than one output connection ports mah...

they will replace the stand and monitor. they dont just replace stand

Hi anyone can tell me how the warranty works? Bought a piece from SLS ytd but when open up there is no warranty card inside. So does it mean that the tax invoice will act as the warranty?

Other models i'm not sure of, but u2312 and u2412 definitely so such problem. My u2312 runs cool even after 2+ days of continuous operation.

Sometimes when u deal with such promoters, u hav to guess what the promoter is hitting on. U may be entertained by a promoter who wants to sell non-Dell products, so by telling u that Dell monitors suffer frm this and that without proof from user statistics or on-site demonstration, he hopes that u will turn your eyes on the other monitor brands that he is desperately trying to promote. So my advise is to check out the reviews online and forums (HWZ, VR-forum). Not just for Dell monitors, but for all other monitors as well.

Just my 2 cents.
