Received mine today too. Looks like got a light purplish tint as compared to my U2312. I prefer the U2312 colour. Ghosting on my set quite evident when viewing my HD video. Not at all impressed with the U2412. Bought it based on reviews and feedback. Now to look out for my next replacement.

find the colors on the philips monitor more vibrant...
