Chatted online with Dell sales, asking about online Comex price for U2412M.

Know that Comex selling for 369 but the online sales told me it's 439 and that's the only price they can give, WTF. Asked him why rrp in Comex brochure is 399, still cheaper than their online 'promo' price. He said that's retail price, another crap. So online is not retail ah? Stupid.

In the end went to SLS and got it much lower, even lower than Comex'

Call also confirm price at 325 after friend recommendation .. when reach ask got stock answer is yes .. i straight away tell them I call not long ago .. their reply was dam disappointed .. 348 you want .. we don't hv the actual stock we are getting from other store .. I told him the quote price was 325 .. the ah ne keep shaking his head .. he was facing problem with another customer too .. suddenly the whole store of ah ne keep shaking their head .. another customer started to talk loud and without patience .. I gave my piss face and walk out ..

348 is higher than dell direct delivery w5 year warranty ..why should i buy from them ..

it is always good to ask around before buying to avoid being chop carrot

of cause they will say got stock to lure you down but u must always have a backup plan and look around

always buy DIY when u have a lot of time on that day so u will not panic and buy

as long as u got money, u can buy any time because the price sure keep dropping one as new models come out

Went down to SLS last weekend after reading all these good prices by bros here. Long story short: Tradepac "best price" is $348. Bestbuy "lowest" offer after bargaining is $340. Only checked receipts at home. It says 5 yr warranty from banleong ??? and no serial number written on receipt. Did I get a lemon?

I think only 1 to 1 replacement during warranty period because Dell support is outsourced in SG but bear in mind you will receive a refurbished unit in return. Please call Dell to confirm this.

from what I know, they don't do monitor "repair" on the spot but rather 1 to 1 exchange (refurbish). Please check with Dell to confirm.

Dell monitors all have 4 screws at the back for mounting.

I bought the monitor and got problem the next day. I call up the customer service and they told me one to one exchange the new set. When the delivery man delivered to my house, he told me it is refurbish set. I reject the monitor.

My friend help me exchange the new one.
