Candid shot while I was hitting some Tbar rows, lol.

Just took this today. Need to bring up my chest badly but that's going to be difficult considering how much I'm pressing nowadays..

Fu*king amazing dude. Don't think I've seen you go on a dedicated cut ever since I've been browsing these boards, and you've made insane strength gains, while continuing to look like you're in the single digit bf% range.

What's your height?

Yeah, it's been a VERY long time since i went on a dedicated cut instead of the usual "damage control". What i noticed is that it is insanely (exaggerated) easy to cut when you are stronger/have more mass. I remember cutting when i was 72kg and i ended up being miserable and starving myself.

I lost a lot of strength on my deadlift, a little on my squat, while upper body is doing quite alright. Probably because i've never put in a concentrated effort into pushing my barbell numbers for upper, instead choosing (wrongly, i might add) to focus on dumbbells.

Dumbbells have their place, but for me they're just assistance for the barbell lifts.

I'm 173cm. I find it way easier to gain strength than size tbh, just got to be consistent and very patient. Being overzealous in my approach has backfired every time.

Not bad at all. Haven't trained in the early mornings for quite a while since i started work, made an exception today because i would end work late and i was not going to rush my workout. Felt quite confident so i went to give 160 a ride for a few reps instead of working up to a EDM.

Videoed my SGRDLs too to make sure i was bracing sufficiently throughout the movement.

Damn i love my fcking hemavol + conquer. **** sick wicked pumpzzzzzzz. Declines getting easier probably due to initial neural adaptations to the movement pattern. Gonna spend another 2 sessions before i change the exercises again.

I started bulking in the start of Oct '13 and made massive gains all the way till the start of June. Went from 75 to 77 iirc. Post ORD I travelled overseas for 2 weeks+. I managed to train and get in decent amount of food but my lifts dropped, I returned to SG at 76 and softer than at 77. I cut for 2 weeks after that to drop to a leaner 75, and to rebuild my lifts.

Started bulking in Jan again. Going up to 78 79 was pretty quick and painless because 75 is my depleted weight and I hold water like stupid from carbs. Going from 79 to 82 took me quite some time because it was hard to eat 4000cals.

I went up to 82 with a rather consistent weight gain from week to week. I was putting on some BF but my only concern was to get my squat up, so I kept pushing the food.

Somewhere along feb/march i got stuck at 82 (food poisoning/stomach flu for a week; dropped to 80). Post sickness I was more determined than ever to get back to 82 and beyond.

I started binging and eating every single fcking thing i could get my hands on. Post workout would be like 3 double cheeseburgers, i even had 3 bandito pocketts - the next day i hit a 180 on my squat at 86kg BW.

I was literally bloated and getting fat, my pants were getting tighter and my face was swelling up. So I tapered down the calories, eliminated crappy food, and controlled my carbs.

Went back to 83 within a week, 81 within 2. From 81-77.5 took me 4 weeks though.
