i have 2 pc that lasted more than 4 years
use as media pc and for gaming.
all the PSU in my PC lasted more than 6 years.
so it is not uncommon for PC to last more than 4 years.

I got 4 pcs lasting more then 10 years.. upgraded they to run q9300 and still running 8gb DDR2 and 64gb SSD

2x for boting some games and 2x for climb 24x7 except once a week I will reboot them...

dont have to worry. my pc is i7 sandy bridge. hardly even turned it off. still going very strong till today.

I wonder why not much people use sleep? Use sleep is good if sleep work for your pc, pc can awake fast into windows.

I wanted to use sleep but sometimes set to sleep already it just cannot wake up and then I need to press restart and all my opened windows all gone. Not sure how to solve the problem. I already set "Never sleep" in the power settings.

I would love to use sleep instead of shutting down. Every time I try to put my PC to sleep it reboots - known Gigabyte issue.

Does not really hurt tho as the PC boots up in like 10 seconds which is why I've not made a fuss.

Happened to me for a couple of days - immediate reboot whenever I hibernate.

Tried to troubleshoot, checking every plausible Windows setting to no avail.

Then out of the blue, the problem went away by itself.

Conclusion - Windows gremlin
