Hi.. would like to get some advice on what set-up I can get with a $700 budget. Usage mainly for surfing internet, trading, watching videos, playing Football Manager and sometimes, games like Call of Duty or Diablo. I do not need a DVD drive, keyboard & mouse, monitor. Able to get a quad-core processor? Would also need help in assembling the system.. any advice appreciated... thank you!

I think he may face problems if he opens too many tabs... But up to him to decide.

haha thanks guys... i would need OS. Windows 7 still available?

what is the "little" we are talking about here?

you can use Roy's Build if you don't mind 3rd gen processor, or my build if you want 4th gen. But up a little means maybe another $100++ for OS ba

$100-200 would be safe? Can get slightly better gpu and 8gb ram. Maybe get a slightly different case.

1) what's ur trading software requirements? dual core? if yes, i3 is more than sufficient.

2) always go for SSD. getting a conventional HDD with quad core cpu i7 won't bring u anywhere at all. if really tight budget, get the lowest size ssd like 64gb will do.
