I wonder why they will build a mall there. There isn't much residential out there and it's not on an mrt line.

Any idea whos managing the mall?

probably a small mall similar to HillV2.

Whatโ€™s ur take on HillV2? It seems a lacklustre mall w low human traffic.

Think the shops there cater nicely to the ang mohs and sikit atas folks in the area. There is a popular Italian restaurant iO on the second floor, which I enjoy going to whenever I happen to be in the area. A Market Place (part of the Dairy Farm group) as well, with a very good selection of groceries.

That area attas? Not that I note of. I know Midwood is jus nearby Hillv2 and Hillview Peak is also just beside. Personally, found it to be rather ulu.

Definitely nowhere near truly atas, which is why I said "sikit (slightly) atas". :) There are a bunch of ulu condos further up, such as Eco Sanctuary, Foresque and Tree House.

I wouldn't wanna stay in that area though, haha.

I think it's important to know who's managing the mall. If it's a big player still got chance. Retail business are getting more challenging and there are plenty of "ghost malls" out there already. If the mall fails the condo wouldn't do too well also.

The better mall managers are definitely Frasers and Capitaland. Frasers used to play catch up to Capitaland but is now steering ahead- see NorthPoint.

Ok. Seems an interesting project. I like that you can shoot out to the expressway right away. And the park is nearby.

I think this area is usually quite overlooked. It's actually quite convenient to go CBD by car.
