First looks:

Its currently the most expensive 1:18 model in my garage. First impressions out of the box is that it is very well packed.

The blue Bugatti box is protected by another plain white box. The Veyron's engine cowl is a seperate piece itself, and is wrapped in plastic and held down in another part of the styrofoam packaging.

This Veyron model has a very nice heft to it. Not so heavy that it feels cumbersome, but yet not so light that it feels cheap.

Quality is good for its price, in fact, I probably couldn't ask for anything more. The paint finish is smooth and excellent, with the various detailing very well thought out.

Perhaps the most impressive area of this model is its rear wing. Press a button and it pops up, just like the real deal. The detail goes right down to the "hydraulic cylinders" that support and adjust the angle of the rear wings. One little niggle is having to remove the engine cowl when you want to have the wings in their "Up" position.

Hits:
- Quality that shows.
- Everyone will want a piece at its limited 5000pcs/colour scheme.
- Model includes a handy little magnifying glass for you to look at the details.
- Also includes cleaning cloth.
- Rear wing assembly pops up at the press of a button.

Misses:
- Hard to keep your hands off this baby.
- Fingerprints on the shiny paint. Cue use of cleaning cloth!
- Tyre sidewalls have no markings.
- Have to remove engine cowl and fit back when activating the rear wing.

So far from what I know, these brands are doing the GT-R:

Autoart
Kyosho
Maisto

Best details would be the first 2, Maisto quality isn't really there yet... then again, you pay for what you get.

Not sure when the models will be released though.. everyone's waiting for the GT-R!

I am building up a set of Lego Enzo Ferrari #8652 and would like to put it in a display case upon completion.

I search the Internet and the closest I get is somewhat like these:-

And the one above.

I would like to enquiry where can I find/view/buy such cases in Singapore?

I know I can find it in hobbies shop but I dun want to waste so much time walking into one and find nothing.

Any recommendations?
Best if you are the shop owner and can even give me discounts.
