Asking ah, go msia pump diesel got limit or restriction or not ah? I cannot find any information anywhere so come here to ask for help.

No limit on arriving to Singapore.

But, if you are departing from Singapore in a Singapore-registered motor vehicle, the vehicle’s motor fuel supply tank must be at least three-quarter tank full.

The three-quarter tank rule applies to all dutiable fuels. For petrol-CNG vehicles and diesel-CNG vehicles, drivers should ensure both the CNG and petrol/diesel fuel tanks are at least three-quarter full.

Those who do not meet the rule may be prosecuted in court and fined up to S$500. The driver must turn back to Singapore to fill the vehicle’s fuel supply tank to at least three-quarter full before the vehicle is allowed to leave Singapore.

If the vehicle’s fuel gauge is tampered, the driver will be charged in court for illegal alteration of the fuel-measuring equipment. More information on customs offences is available here.

Foreign cars cannot pump diesel within a certain distance from the border checkpoint, think it is 30km or similar distance. Saw the message on on the pump while at Petron.

3/4 tank rule applies for vehicle leaving sg. there use to be a restriction for foreign cars pumping diesel near customs not sure now.

Smart diesel in sg is good value. the rm20 might not make much savings

With the toll and road charge at msia border, only empty tank can have a little bit saving. But then this means you are taking a certain amount of risk against such little saving and not worth the time and efforts to cross over even for petrol. Before you could pump any fuel into your vehicle you need to pay for about SGD$19 in total of round trip toll and RC, add on with the FC lets say 40KM travel round trip most likely SGD$23. So if you think really can save on petrol maybe need an empty tank to pump to fullest then minus off this $23 to get the nett saving then see if it is worth your time of 2hrs round trip without traffic jam at custom for such saving?

Yup... Correct

Current Euro 5 diesel price in MY is RM2.21 which is about 71 cents round down (based on last weekend 3.1 exchange)

Let say you pump 50 litres of Diesel that will be around $35.5+$19 = $54.5 (divide by 50 litres will give you $1.09/litre). Only worth if you compare with the major petrol companies in Sg, but after discount etc, savings might not be superb

I believe some other SG diesel company gives similar pricing too.

Plus jam etc. Unless you go in to massage, eat, wash car, buy stuff then might be worth but daily in out... i feel petrol cars more worth cos their savings is more due to petrol in Singapore is alot more expensive than diesel whereas in Msia, Diesel and Petrol prices ard 20 cents difference

More diesel pumps in Msia offering Euro 5 so if your car do not need Euro 5 and you can pump abit cheaper

if you're referring to cinergy, you still get $180 worth of diesel with $150 prepaid card, effectively 75 cts. Limited to one per NRIC, (surprisingly not vehicle#)
