Agree that cherry garden is good if you really want good tim sum buffet. Recently tried Cherry garden (Oriental Marina) and peach blosson (Mandarin marina). Cherry cost me almost 55 nett per pax while peach cost 38nett per pax. Peach is reasonably good but you get more wow factor from Cherry.

The other place to try is crystal jade golden palace at paragon....though not buffet, it will cost much less but quality is good. book b4 going as it is really crowded on weekends.

Its 45++ so about $55 with tea :s13: They just upped the price not too long ago.

Hai Tien Lo's one is not dim sum buffet. Its ala carte buffet, so they have quite a lot of stuff. Tried it once when it was still $52++. Quite decent.

If you don't mind ala carte, then Wah Lok at Carlton Hotel gets my pick...

When I was working around that area, I go there at least once a week...

Of course, there's always Lei Gardens at Chjmes if someone wants to buy me lunch :)

I've never tried peach garden at thomson plaza, but I've tried it at OCBC building. Find the dim sum decent but certainly not near the best I've had in Singapore. But their custard bun is really very good.

Happy restaurant has been around for donkey years. I remember eating there from time to time when I was a kid in the 80s and 90s. :s13:
