Historically and culturally speaking, males/man have always been the breadwinner or financial provider. Heck back in hunter gatherer days, man always do the hunting whilst women do the gathering. If you don't hunt or fail in your hunt you and your tribe go hungry. Men understood this and don't blame the animal, his tools or the government when he starves.

Women have only joined the workforce in the late 18th century (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women_in_the_workforce) and have never had to worry about being the primary provider. There will always be someone else to hunt, or provide the money for my next meal. Hence, modern women don't seem to understand that if they don't hunt, or earn money they are supposed to go hungry since lots of simp would always provide for them. Instead I see many modern women blame their bosses, spouse, children, government, etc when they don't make enough money. But have they ever stopped to think that maybe they might be the problem?

“It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.” ― Upton Sinclair

Based on the ladies I do know at my office (several ladies are of the strong personality and rose to a leadership position), yes, they definitely know what's personal and professional accountability.

That's why we need to help her understand.
Let her know why she is not the most unfortunate.
We didn't mention abt ourselves doesn't mean we have a smooth life journey
Boss... strictly speaking, we are all strangers here. Whether she thrives or fails is none of our business. :o

I might not like his authoritarian ways, but he gets sh1t done. Look at how he handled the SQ pilot union then you can understand his style. The current dunno 4 or 5G is busy monitoring only. PMA, vape, high-rise littering, illegal PHV, illegal food delivery workers, etc. So many issues no one can solve anything!

nowadays everything has to tread carefully as everyone finds something to be offended by.

And who enables that arrangement, and why?

There are men who leech off their gf/wife too, and they are enabled to do so. Why? - this should be the real question, before jumping into any of the 'gender' arguments.
Simps. Not me during courtship I expected my then gf to pay her portion. I got the large sums she needed to cover the smaller ones.

Gen X have, Gen Y have.

Gen Z and Millennials still abit low on the corporate food chain. No one rockets up that fast in my company.
I’m willing to bet GenXY have different value system. Modern women mostly refer to late millennials and GenZ.

Personal accountability is the mindset and practice of taking full ownership of your actions, decisions, and their consequences—without shifting blame or making excuses.

🔍 Core Elements of Personal Accountability

  • Responsibility: You own your tasks, commitments, and outcomes.
  • Integrity: You follow through on promises and act in alignment with your values.
  • Self-awareness: You recognize your strengths and weaknesses and work to improve.
  • Resilience: You learn from mistakes and bounce back stronger.

🧠 Examples in Everyday Life

SituationAccountable Response
Missed a deadlineAdmit it, explain why, and propose a fix
Gave incorrect informationCorrect it promptly and clarify the misunderstanding
Forgot a commitmentApologize and reschedule or make amends
Made a poor decisionReflect, learn, and adjust your approach

💡 Why It Matters

  • Builds trust in relationships and teams
  • Fuels personal growth and self-discipline
  • Enhances credibility and leadership potential
  • Creates a culture of transparency and improvement
It’s not just about admitting fault—it’s about being proactive, reliable, and growth-oriented.
U sound like a teacher

I don’t believe in fictional man in sky!
Besides today sabbath you should not be on your phone but praying to your man in sky!
Goodness you don't believe in your Creator* but you read just enough to create a huge strawman. How do you feel now, beating down that big scary strawman? Man was not made for the sabbath - the sabbath was made for man. Anytime you rest, withdraw from the world a while to seek God even for 30 min, that time right then is sabbath.

*Like Pinocchio insisting that Geppetto does not exist.

I think you need go back primary school study English again. Or ask ChatGPT what my sentence actually meant if you know how to use it.
Wow do you usually talk like this in edmw? Will nose grow longer? :o

INPUT: Parse and explain the sentence in quotes "I close my eyes enter REM state for 1 hr

OUTPUT: Let’s break down the sentence “I close my eyes enter REM state for 1 hr” step by step:

1. Surface grammar

Subject: “I”

Verb: “close”

Object: “my eyes”

Next part: “enter REM state for 1 hr”

The problem is that it’s missing a connector (like and, then, or a comma*), so it reads a bit ungrammatical.

2. Implied structure

What the speaker likely means is:
“I close my eyes and (then) enter REM state for 1 hour.”

So there are two sequential actions:

Close my eyes

Enter REM state (for 1 hr)

3. Semantic meaning

Close my eyes → beginning of sleep attempt.

Enter REM state → specifically the sleep stage characterized by rapid eye movement and dreaming.

For 1 hr → duration of time in REM.

4. Overall sense

The sentence expresses: “When I close my eyes, I go into REM sleep for an hour.
It compresses what should be two clauses into one run-on structure.

accountability is a huge word and not everyone shares the same understanding males and females alike.

While accountability shares some similarities with responsibility there is still some inherent differences between the 2.

Based on Google Ai definition.

Responsibility is the obligation to complete tasks and can be shared or delegated, while accountability is the acceptance of ownership for the final outcome of those tasks, which cannot be delegated and is a personal commitment to results. Responsibility is task-focused and can be acquired through assignment, whereas accountability is results-focused, personal, and often involves a choice to take ownership.

Here's a breakdown of the key differences:
Responsibility
  • Focus: Task-focused; the duties and assignments given to you.

  • Delegation: Can be shared or delegated to others.

  • Acquisition: Can be assigned or assumed.

  • Ownership: You are the person assigned to do the work.

  • Example: A team member is responsible for creating a specific report, or a store clerk is responsible for mopping the floor.
Accountability
  • Focus: Results-focused; taking ownership of the outcome, whether good or bad.

  • Delegation: Cannot be delegated; it is a personal obligation.

  • Acquisition: Requires personal choice and proactive engagement.

  • Ownership: You "own" the final results of the task or decision.

  • Example: The head chef is accountable for the quality of all the food coming out of the kitchen, even if other chefs were responsible for preparing individual dishes.
How They Work Together
  • You can be responsible for a task but not accountable for its results if someone else is held accountable for the outcome.

  • Accountability often follows responsibility. After fulfilling your responsibilities, you take accountability for the results.

  • For instance, an employee might be responsible for handling customer complaints, but the manager is accountable for the overall customer satisfaction.

Based on the definition, Responsibility is the subset of Accountability. Looking at things, most ppl dont even have mindset of responsibility much less accountability.

Well I understand the meaning of accountability I even posted the detailed explanation in an earlier post since about half the people don’t know what is means. Maybe I need to define modern women too because got people telling me their Gen X, Y sisters, colleagues aren’t like that.
