after that i walked to kopitiam and buyed cai png, the cai png scoper called out to me in her accented mandarin "shuai ge chi hai shi ba", it restored my faith in humanity

Actually the operator no incentive to operate it properly right? Got audit like the lorry must go down how many times a month? Each time go down must collect at least certain percentage of the cans inside the bin.

Knn i go down to return the cans just now, the machine is at 0% but it is not operating properly. The conveyor belt is spinning forward instead of backwards. High chance the foreign worker collect liao then never check working or not. Or purposely make it don't work so no need waste petrol coming down.

For all we know the operator is just collecting the monthly salaries for the employees without do any work.

I encountered the machine was OK
Came back few minutes later and almost all cans cannot be read
Go another machine & no issues

this recycle thing should be better off educating singaporean thru singapore education, and not making it a money thing. look at how people are digging into trash or just going around to collect the cans and bottles.

like one uncle said to me, now this whole BCRS make Singapore all, like beggar. dig trash to trade for 10cents. which he is not exactly wrong doh.

Nvm, then this uncle give me all the cans of beer that he'd drank. Gladly take it all in. I can take to BCRS slowly put

Laughable I just reported a machine that got issue.
- Conveyor belt not moving
- Backdoor behind the Conveyor cannot open so cans cannot go in.

Epic fail.
Think they never thought people recycle so many until the machine uplorry.

If they really wanna make it successful, make sure they have a machine at EVERY building, not just placed it at a deep corner inside the underground NTUC supermarket.

I kena similar thing when the machine was 0% full, it kept rejecting my bottles with error message, Hand Detected~ I tried many times with different bottles and methods also didn't work, then I saw the machine was 0% filled then I realized it most likely the machine fault~

Couple of weeks back mentioned the BCRS machines were getting really squeaky in my area. Today went out to recycle and all within walking distance were GG with either display showing an error message or manually written out of order signs pasted on the opening
