i drink even more, i want to help recycle and make Singapore clean and green

Illogical logic. Recycle = clean and green?

If didn't order or buy drinks, no bottles to recycle , isn't that even more clean and green?

Only drink coffeeshop in-house tea and kopi so no impact

but now actually do notice lesser bottles/can litter on the roadside, which is a good thing

Nowadays, I bring along my portable vacuum flask, and a fruity favoured vitamin tab for replacement of the fizzy drinks.
Top up cold/hot water in office easily available for most office workers, some had coffee machines too..
Bring out a fully filled flask when going out for lunch.

Can use flask to chope table.

This machine no troubleshoot right?
I return the other day, the moving belt move towards me - how to retun like that?
Then machine cannot read the barcode. Then the cans jammed inside the moving belt and cannot proceed.
Waste my time.

Machine surroundings the ground also getting filthy and have ants everywhere.
Really just forget about those machines and have collection point with human instead.

Nice idea to recycle but implementation another story!

need to try other machines... it test your luck ones... either full or empty but cannot accept as somehow barcodes not able to scan at that machines or unknown reasons not able to accept...

tried 2 machines; both empty but cannot accept... the third one can accept but the smell

Just now went to return some cans, unfortunately queue behind 2 PRC stall assistants, they successfully claimed back $15.70 with still a small bag of failed returns but they paiseh to keep retrying and let me go first.

What impressed me was they used wet tissues to clean the touch screen and the floor before leaving.

Today moi lost 10 cents helping a foreign worker bro return bottles/cans
Really helping him hor, he was there at the machine, not the other kind of "help" in returning the can/bottles.

Anyway, the foreign worker bro wasted like 10 mins trying to return 3 cans, but he didn't understand how to use PayLah, so the machine printed 3x refund tickets (each 10 cents). A few other fellow Sinkies and I try to explain but I don't know if he understand. So end up I gave him my hard-earned 3x 10 cent Singapore coins and take his 3 tickets.

So just now when I was taking a break from Grab, moi took the chance to scan the tickts. Moi noticed that the new refund ticket got a QR code to scan and it will auto-key in the refund details. You just need to provide your name, bank account details and phone. Then wait 10 business days.

While scanning the tickets moi found out that 1 ticket out of the 3 have already been scanned (the system is smart enough to detect repeat scans, duh)! So therefore I lost 10c today.
