It's the same as safety mark.

Big companies can afford to do tests and certify. That's why our big electro marts can survive so well

It's not all products that don't have safety mark don't have eligible safety certificates.

Sinkie has a stupid unique rule, your cert must be less than 3 years old else cannot be used to apply plus must pay alot to renew. To retest and get a fresh cert is damn hard especially without manufacturer support and easily cost few k.

It's like saying your degree diploma has 3 years expiry and must continously retake.

And big manufacturing companies can even ownself pass themselves. That's why Singapore appliance range so limited and so exp.

In the end the cert more like protect insurance companies than consumers. And the manufacturers build just enough to hit the min requirement, since liability is shielded. :(

why they put the BCRS at supermarket??? should put at every food court and fast food restaurant

Why make it easy for people to recycle the cans? Don't forget the org running BCRS is expecting to get paid from the "estimated 10%" of un-recycled containers. Which means the less people recycle, the more huat they are!

I always flush with tap water inside and outside, before collecting a few bottles to return.
It's just a habit.

i bought evian for 1.60.
The shelve put 1.50, and was charge 10c more when i pay..

so i wonder the 10c go to the shop or the factory?

if they buy in bulk in factory, 10c should be factor in liao.... mean factory cos price is included 10c.
thn how come still charge extra 10c when i pay in cashier.

she even put on gloves and mask to prevent saliva contamination seems like a "professional" collector.

seeing more and more with many/bottles cans. I just have 1 or 2. The other day had to wait for someone with 53 cans/bottles.
