Think the BCRS thing really killed my cheap 100 plus zero drink. Previously they were sold for $3.95 for 2 1.5L bottles of 100 plus, cheapest in Singapore! Now there no more.

the clearing of old non bcrs stocks should be based on expiry date of the drinks. not set a specific date. Only ban new productions of imports of non BCRS drinks if they really want to force this implementaton.

The U.S debts are foreign debts, so they raise import taxes etc, and remove protection or U.S bases in other countries.

Our debts are to our people, maybe ... Maybe via CPF fundings, so "taxing" the citizen further is the answer. Actually if they made better investments and lower govt expenditure are also alternative solutions.

The way this are done here is either pay or fine, this scheme is not a total failure cos got ppl go and collect cans and deposit into the machines to earn extra cash so actually the cans are being recycled, KPI reached BUT it also created a lot of problems from manufacturers down to consumers, which is a PR failure.

bought a drink, realized is 10c more ex, thought it was coz I bought the cold version.

later then realised is the 10c return.

when to machine, return, only accept DBS Paylah or SimplyGo ez-link card.

whip out my ez-link and scan, TMD, not accepted, coz mine is old type ez-link, cheesepie, got scammed 10c by pap.gov.sg

happened to me, i collected the bottles of my protein milkshake eight empty bottles and then the machine card reader stopped working, so I just left them inside because cannot take them out anyway, it’s really inside the machine crushed.

I heard Malaysia having more and more beverages with 10 cent logo printed there.
But you can't bring to SG to recycle cuz the barcode not reconfigize.
I already ask NEA about this see what they say.
What a joke SG most goods are import from Malaysia.
If Malaysia side got print that side should be able to claim the 10 cent.
But Malaysia have no plans to introduce such scheme.

My waifu oso suddenly very gian ask me lug all the cans go queue up return 1 by 1. She oso beri into the wad blue bin recycling thing.

Now every nite I have to lug BOTH big bags of recycling thing to the blue bin and then walk far far to return the cans.

Dunno for wad, only a few cents? Gahmen better dun invent more of such things make my life difficult
