Means cannot claim despite paying 10 cents per can?
Should raise to WP etc as well
Show such shoddy work done by PAP

Malaysian cans doesn't matter
Seen cans with Malay wordings but can claim cos have the 10 cents logo
MY does not have $0.10 logo?
Each purchase is extra +$2.40 always; not just one order end of it.

I'm saying those cans also have malay words etc. Those are clearly recyclable cos I did it
Yes
They have ten cents logo

Those are probably continuation of what's being done now

So is the END Point really recycling? Or some countries buys our "recycleable" for "RECYCLING"
the tracebility is it there or all of us is going through motion.

I remember seeing a docu about taiwan ..from start to finish , then the end product make back into the non food packaging material.
Ya well

If 10 cents are more than what commercial folks are paying for cans and bottles, then just use some.common sense. PAP paying for it and its not on commercial terms

Yesterday walk past a bcrs machine beside a Fairprice store. Omg, the strong stench from the machine almost make me puke. Wonder how often they clear these machines.
i don't think the users will wash their bottles before refunding. I think only a handful will wash thoroughly before refund

There should be return machine at every hdb block. I drink one can I still have to wash store somewhere in my house before go out. Still need to use a bag to contain it and it's left over water to reach the supermarket. Knn. Whoever think of this never think of it's implementation.

i propose they install a tap and sink besides each BCRS machine to let user wash their bottle before refunding

I wash is because need to store in house first. Then when transport to the machine the inside liquid will sure spill out and we still the to touch the spill coated cans to return it. Super dirty.

Last week, I packed assorted bottles and cans (10 in total).... and I wash clean clean (waste abit of monies on water), and packed into a carrier. Took about 3-4 mins to complete the process (waste abit of time). Then I got $1/-... and walk to my car (wasted abit petrol and carpark fee)... and so happy that I save $1/- ....

Finally after a month, they acknowledged my manual refund request and will now start looking into it. And it could take 30 days to put into my bank account. Seriously... They should have adopted those shopping mall app OCR systems to process and distribute the refunds!!! Why so backward?

I only wash if like at public toilets where there's free water and I'm free
Otherwise why bother

Best is take can from wherever and just throw into machine 1 meter away
Don't need to wash
