she had 3 big plastic bag of empty cans.

My guess is at least 100 cans.

I wonder where she went to collect.

BTW 100 can can earn how much?.

I wanted to order 3 carton of drinks from Lazarda cos the seller gave me a 50% discount

When I wanted to pay, the page for a breakdown and lised a bottle refund charge of nearly $10, meaning it added almost 30% to my bill of $30+

So yeah, F the G for increasing COL for everyone

Most likely the 3 cartons all dont have BCRS logo also

Wow so "upon receipt" is after they acknowledged/replied to ur email which idk u lucky or unlucky and take up to a month for ur case already and then the up to 30 days start? I still thought upon sending to them and the countdown starts..

And what are they looking into it, hopefully is just a generic reply.. isnt it very straightforward no payment refunded thus the machine printed the receipt and if u have the receipt (assuming it isnt a case of double claimed).. it should be very straightforward already what, whats more u need to give name and bank account..

Yup. Even though the campaign was postponed, still never bother to fully think through the implementation details. Quite jialat. I wonder how they do the accounting also. Seem like manual verification.

A mah bought two bottles of milk Meiji choc and plain full cream. Guess what ? They charge me extra 10 cent but that is my 1.5 week supply of milk?! Why they charge me for one time use fee a?

I bought bottles of mineral water at bras brasah after exercising with bestie. Then I saw that recycle bottle machine so went to give it my bottle. Guess what, he say I don’t have 10 cent mark so won’t eat my bottle. Oi .. even if u don’t give me my 10 cent at least take that bottle la, I walked a few buildings fr b brasah to ps to return eh. Waste lao a mah battery
End up I throw two good clean water bottles into dustbin which is overflowing near that recycle machine

when to machine, return, only accept DBS Paylah or SimplyGo ez-link card.

whip out my ez-link and scan, TMD, not accepted, coz mine is old type ez-link, cheesepie, got scammed 10c by pap.gov.sg

Actually its not that

Its cos the last screen after you returned bottle is to say how much paid to you.

You then press OK.

Cos its slooooww you keep pressing OK

What happens is , it then goes to next screen and the part you press OK in next screen is the language option which is the Tamil option

The system purposely make it difficult for you to claim back the 10cents. So it's easier for them to NOT to refund you. BOYCOTT such system!!!

That’s why ordinary folks should represent a least 30% or more of the law makers so policies are useful irl. Not just good for paper. Thinking about plastic bag charge scheme, I still believe originally, each household gets their trash bag from ntuc or supermarket and throw away 7-20 a day.
versus now
each family buys 50-100 each time and throw away 7-20 a day plus those in stocks but deteriorated.

Seriously... all these are just a facade for going GREEN... show pple we are making efforts to recycle nia...

I mean the whole scheme is noble... to incentivise recycling... but to differentiate "Got label" and No label for recycling is diminishing the recycling effort and grander idea... defeat the whole purpose...

They should at least provide alternative recycling bin nearby... for those bottles/cans that is "not worthy of recycle10cents"...

Those EDMWERs can boycott all they want but many are participating and using the system and the money is good, as you say those boycott here boycott there guys are actually redirecting the money to those willing to pick up the cans and recycle, in the end it is their own loss.

Necessary transitions. The sacrifices were deemed reasonable and acceptable by the planners.

You have to understand that they absolutely understand how thing really work. They made the conscious decision to proceed knowing that.

If only it were pure ignorance. Reality is not so blissfull.

Anyway once the existing stock of unlabeled stock is consumed, we should end up with a cleaner operating environment. I expect that machine full occurances will be diluted a bit once the logistics catches up and more are deployed. Bear in mind each is considerably expensive and any corporate plan will go with minimum viable deployment to keep exposure lower.
