no need to collect and store, just return daily to the BCRS machine. It's not like those who collect cardboard boxes. Beside, your neighbors might steal and collect the 10 cents themselves if you leave it outside your house.

collect a few...drop get back $0.20- 0.50cents but wait till 3 -5 packs of big bags get back $30-50 mostly i see ppl carrying big bags one shot take back....no see before ppl take back 10 -20 cents one.....some ppl put outside ar because it cluttered the beautiful reno...... nowadays ppl got cctv de or video doorbell got ppl steal will know....can poh mata if kanna steal lol

Being environmental friendly is one thing but the time could be better spent on developing the child or just let the child to enjoy his/her childhood.

Just now, I saw an elderly uncle searching the bins and stomping the cans flat. Those smokers near there told him it's better to check if those cans has BCRS label and exchanging them for $0.10 is more worthwhile.

The uncle says he can't read and have poor eyesight.

So the smokers advised him to bring to the machine and try one by one.

Uncle got irritated and tell them to stop bothering him and let him salvage in peace.

I think maybe Karang Guni man will have a new policy of no crushing of cans in future.

it's not cash but credit to some DBS account or SimplyGo card. I hope for the kid's sake, it's DBS.

I myself don't have a DBS account, so I can't enjoy the BRCS refund.
