Think no 'SG' logo like cannot use for the machine.

If really want to encourage recycling should allow for all cans and bottles. Many got indication its recyclable. But not specifically with the 'SG' logo.

Germany has been doing it for 20 years...and other EU countries are doing it as well. And their refund is costlier compared to our 10cents.

Those who complain about it probably didn't live long enough overseas to experience the depth of how their recycling programs are in those countries. We are still considered quite backwards because of our 3rd world mindset and selfish mentality combined with the 3rd world mentality of the residents that come from around the SEA region which somehow we are proud of having.

SG only started and we are the 1st in Asia to do it...will take a while before it becomes a culture. Its just not an Asian thing to recycle who prefer to dump all the trash together and see it disappear in the landfills/incinerator.

Abit misleading. They are recyclable. Wonder which other place is that just nice same 10cts return.

How come no complain cars in germany selling so cheap and use so much petrol ... green meh ? Sell $300k sgd and force ppl to take public transport ma... This also green.
