Went to put a deposit of $2k for a used Kia caren at Starise Automobile (Starise Credit) at turf city. In contract stated loan $78k at 3.58% interest and admin fees $500. Bank came back at very loan which I cannot afford the huge down payment. So they recommend in house finance at $73k loan at 3.98% and $1k admin fees. They said if cannot accept will forfeit deposit. So I lost the deposit. The sales man is Milo. I had no choice but to file claim at state court. Do not believe what they said. They will sweet talk until the deal is so good for you to put deposit. Then they will force you to accept new terms or lose deposit.

If they break that contract by giving you a different interest amount then its them whom has to return your deposit

You plan to downplay how much? 3.98% I house finance it is expensive

Never every buy car at turf city. A scam paradise.
Wanna buy from any dealers, always do a google search to check.
The loan interests is insanely high... you took their inhouse loan? Bank loan for cars at 2.28 or 2.98 at most.
Lastly, don't buy a car if cannot afford the downpay. Better off taking cab or bus.

First time buying a 2nd hand ride? From what you wrote, i assumed you are. 3.58%? you are conned dude.
Did you visit another dealer and compared? Range form 1.98- 2.48. While your loan is so high, i guess you better forgo the deposit and take public tpt.

Indeed, i can see 1.98%. However, be aware of the "trick" behind. Some is advertisement gimmick.

I have came across 1.88% also. Very BS. Just to attract customer come see the ride, put deposit liao. Then say they will try 1.88 if cannot straightway 2.xx%
Subsequently, will tell you sorry cannot get. I walked away when they cannot confirm on writing that confirm can get 1.88%
The scenario just like TS.

Buy second hand car if you put deposit make sure everything and interest stated in the document. Normally book a car is $500. And once bank confirm with document than only put the down payment.

One should check how much the intreast in total for such loan . You will get a heart attack

Based 78,000, 40% requires dp of 31,200 then can njoy proper bank loan.

So supposed, u hav placed a sum of dp too but not 40% ya.

Yes. Was 3mths back. Now not sure. 1.98% & 1.88% as advertised. Not guarantee can get. Thus, is gimmick most of the time.
