yup, got a spare 3 pin power cable. so it's all good...

I also got a psu coming in from amazon. I got a 3 pin power cable lying around with 10A fuse inside. Will it be ok?

Updated

Found the answer on another forum.

If i use 10a it be 10a x 240V = 2400W woahh! Major no if things go wrong.

reccomended is 3Amp or 5Amp fuse on the kettle cable to a PC.

This is the breakdown of my rig purchased over the BF period.

Intel Core i7-4790K - Amazon @ USD289.99
EVGA Z97 Stinger Core3D - Amazon @ USD178.99
Team Xtreem DDR3 2400MHz CL10 8GB x 2 - Newegg @ SGD197.70
SanDisk Extreme PRO 240GB x 2 - Amazon @ USD129.99
SanDisk Extreme PRO 480GB - Amazon @ USD204.00
Sapphire Vapor-X R9 280X 3GB Tri-X OC with Boost - Amazon @ USD274.99
Seasonic X650 Gold - Tradepac @ SGD158.00
Lian Li PC-Q18B - t258jgn @ SGD158.00
Logitech Wireless Illuminated Keyboard K800 - Amazon @ USD54.99
Logitech Performance Mouse MX - Amazon @ USD47.99
Prolimatech Samuel 17 - Amazon @ USD44.99
Noctua NF-F12 iPPC 2000 IP67 PWM - Amazon @ USD26.81
Noctua NF-P14s redux-1500 PWM - Amazon @ USD21.24

Other than the mainboard and CPU heatsink which couldn't be shipped directly, every other item were shipped directly. I spent a total of USD17.47 to ship the mainboard and heatsink over. As you can see, the savings is easily into the hundreds and more than cover any fees required to ship an item for RMA. Heck, the savings can even cover the cost of a major item such a mid-range graphics card.

The prices I indicated are inclusive of refunds but my point going the online route js a highly viable one, as opposed to advice that getting a rig from SLS will only cost a little more.
