Other than the mainboard and CPU heatsink which couldn't be shipped directly, every other item were shipped directly. I spent a total of USD17.47 to ship the mainboard and heatsink over. As you can see, the savings is easily into the hundreds and more than cover any fees required to ship an item for RMA. Heck, the savings can even cover the cost of a major item such a mid-range graphics card.

thats sibeh ex, in fact I feel that you didnt do much homework prior to buying. Most of the stuff arent very cheap. The 280X can be had for USD$130 from newegg on bf. $163.99-$30 paypal discount.

I agree that the card isn't the cheapest and in fact the price I got is only 5% off the RRP. I initially wanted to get one from SLS but the Sapphire models I wanted were out of stock, so were the USD200+ R9 290 online. Even then, it is easily $60-$70 worth of savings than getting it here.

As for the rest of the items, other than the fans which are the same price locally, they were more or less purchased at the lowest price point during the 2 weeks period. So what exactly aren't cheap? Please don't compare prices with other brands and models as I already have specific brands for specific items in mind.

Now usd-sgd 1.31

Likely to go higher next year and beyond when US starts their rate hikes

it's almost a year now, and yet computer is running very solid...
running it at 16hrs a day for grid...

recent (august) hoot from amazon...

Evga can ship the faulty item to taiwan then what about asus graphic card? :)

By which courier?
Do they add enough stuff inside the box to protect the hardware?
What happen if amazon no stock for your graphic card if you ship back to them?

What happens if i'm not at home when the parcel arrive?

I want to get from amazon / newegg but afraid that i wont be at home to sign the parcel as im working office hours.

so you order everything in one day but they just come in different parcel in different days?
