Hello guys, I recently made a DIY PC with these parts and I'm regretting now cause my case and my monitor can't fit into my desk due to height limitations. I have to let them lie down everytime I put my desk down.(bed+desk together. something like this hiddenbed.sg/product.php?p=smile)

Do you guys think its better to get and a Silverstone RVZ01(can the motherboard can even fit?) and a SFX PSU and a Dell U2414H or just sell this whole build and get a new build that is smaller?

If selling, where should I sell it and how much can it fetch me?
(PC 3weeks old but my monitor already has scratches and stand has broke)

intel core i5-4460 + msi h81m-e35 v2
kingston ddr3 pci12800/1600mhz 8gb ram
w.d 1tb blue 64mb 3.5" sata3 hdd
corsair cx series 500w psu
dell s2340L 23"full hd led
2x optionalcoolermaster jetflo 120mm non-led fan
bitfenix comrade black
crucial m550 128gb ssd
asus gtx 750ti oc

No point selling. You will make a big loss out of nothing.

To minimize the loss. Take everything out again, sell the chassis and go for a mATX chassis or something small that fits your table criteria.

Yeah. Don't want to make a big loss :(

I'm thinking about the Fractal Core 1100 and not sure about monitors that height are <35cm? (5cm clearance from the 40cm max) Any recommendations?

Oh ya, my power supply corsair cx500m got alot of useless cables like the CPU plug is 8 pin but mine only 4 so got another 4 is useless hanging around. PCI-E cable also got extra hanging around. Wondering if anywhere can buy other cables so that don't have any useless wire hanging around?

Before u get a new case, do your own research dilligently and measure the max height of the bed to floor that the case can go in... Otherwise, u r gonna waste money yet again.

Monitor is an issue since the panel itself may already b bigger than 35cm... U can try go for 21.5" monitors.

BTW, ur room gt no where else to put ur rig? With such space contraint, it shld just be used as a study table or at best use a laptop...

Ya, I was too much in a rush didn't research properly so now I will. Any monitor recommendations? Height just below 40cm can liao preferbly 35cm for the clearance.

Nope, nowhere else to put my rig.

Btw, do you know anywhere can sell my Bitfenix Comrade and monitor?

Can sell ur case at hwz marketplace or vrz forums...

TBH, a monitor that small is really hard to find.... U can try this... But the res is crappy... Do not expect FHD with that size though.. Just look ard for 20" monitors bah...

I saw the Dell U2414H with the stand is movable up and down but I can't seem to find the exact height when the monitor is moved down. Does anyone happen to know?

Also was looking at the Fractal Core 1100 case. Official website said 358mm height but lazada.sg wrote 410mm so I'm confused. :o

Don't think Dell 24" monitor can do as low as to fit your table/ hidden bed. I'm using Dell U2410, the lowest height about 46cm with stand.

Just let it lay down like a desktop casing or place it outside/beside the table compartment of the table/hidden bed.

Okay, means the lowest height for the dell u2414h is 35.5cm with stand right?

I'm now looking at wall mounting but don't wanna drill hole onto the bed. Any wall mounts for the dell 2340l that doesnt require drilling before I get the u2414h?

S2340L cannot be wall mounted as they dun have VESA mounts.

Best is if u take a measuring tape and measure the actual monitor at challenger, courts, best denki, etc... I am not 100% sure of its lowest height.

The shortest m-atx case I can think of is Air 240. Highly recommend it for your case.

As long as u have receipt with valid warranty, can sell higher.

The air 240 looks sweet, might consider it :D theres 3 fans preinstalled but my motherboard only got 3 slots for fans, cpufan and 2 systemfans. any other place i can plug into my motherboard?

What do you mean by selling higher if have receipt with valid warranty? I already used it still can sell higher? wut?

oh sorry was typing on mobile. i mean sell higher than normal. of cos will lose money but if it's so new, maybe can sell 70-80% of purchase price. Valid warranty means locally purchased and distro warranty it. if overseas, then will need intl warranty.

as for fans, besides mobo, can connect fans direct to psu. so it's a lot more fans actually. the Air 240 has a lot of space to hide cables so the setup will look neat.

your psu has molex pins. or u can use a fan hub like the one from Deepcool. plug into your one of yr mobo pins. and u get extra fan ports.
