Put the desktop PC at the top of your bed/desk structure. Run the video cable through the spaces in the structure to the monitor. wireless kb+mice?

I am using Dell U2412M. Lowest height with stand is 39cm. The dimensions on the Dell website are measured with the monitor extended to its fullest height. :s13:

Other options:

Table Clamps
Metal table clamps are quite heavy and clamp at table edge or through cable management hole/grommet. Make sure that your tabletop can support the clamp + monitor wt before purchase. Check that your table edge does not craccck under the wt.

Wall Mounts
You need a monitor with VESA mounting/plate. Then drill 4 holes corresponding to those on the VESA plate. Consider that there is a minimum depth required if you want to mount the monitor to the back panel of the bed/desk. If the back panel is too thin, then your monitor mounting may not be stable.

Or...
Just put the monitor on top of your bed/desk. Put it on the table when you need it :s13:

Can you provide a picture of your desk? Maybe we can think of some creative solution...

And unless your desk is very ex wouldn't the cheapst solution be to replace it?

Hmm... for your case, you can't put it lying down? If lying down it should be able to fit right? Then you can also place the monitor on top of it lying down when you go to sleep...
