Put the desktop PC at the top of your bed/desk structure. Run the video cable through the spaces in the structure to the monitor. wireless kb+mice?
I am using Dell U2412M. Lowest height with stand is 39cm. The dimensions on the Dell website are measured with the monitor extended to its fullest height.
Other options:
Table Clamps
Metal table clamps are quite heavy and clamp at table edge or through cable management hole/grommet. Make sure that your tabletop can support the clamp + monitor wt before purchase. Check that your table edge does not craccck under the wt.
Wall Mounts
You need a monitor with VESA mounting/plate. Then drill 4 holes corresponding to those on the VESA plate. Consider that there is a minimum depth required if you want to mount the monitor to the back panel of the bed/desk. If the back panel is too thin, then your monitor mounting may not be stable.
Or...
Just put the monitor on top of your bed/desk. Put it on the table when you need it
