I was considering Phanteks G500A then changed my mind to H9 Flow as the front is also TG allowing for a full fish tank aesthetic. Price wise H9 is actually cheaper. Airflow in general seems good based on reviews.
u can consider the lian li o11 series, the dynamic evo seems to have better performance. h9 series was probably inspired by it anyway.
How is this for a build? PSU strong enough?

looks good, psu is enough. only thing id suggest u change is the ram, u can get local set 5600c40 expo kit for $145 from bizgram. u get local lifetime warranty, expo compatibility and minimal performance loss as 3d vcache parts are not as sensitive to ram timings.
Hello, can I get some advice for a new build below 2k?
For gaming use on D4 and Valorant.
Not sure if I should go for AM4 or AM5 socket.

Will source for parts on taobao and amazon.

Appreciate the advice!!

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X or 5800X
MOBO: MSI MAG B550M Mortar
Cooler: Thermalright Frozen Notte 360 White ARGB
RAM: Probably 16GB with RGB
Storage: WD SN770 2TB
GPU: Thinking on RTX 4060 or 4060ti
PSU: Probably 650w
Case: AIYOUNGO M-ATX from Taobao
dont get the 4060ti for sure. id suggest getting the rx7600 if looking at local set (under $400), or rx6600 if ok with amazon (under $300), either will play those games very well at 1080p or 1440p. if u can wait, can also wait for 4060 release end of the week, though i do not think it wil be an amazing value proposition especially in ur games. am4 vs am5 wise, is more down to whether u are looking to save as much money as possible; if yes am4, if not am5. if u go am4, 5700x should be very similar to 5800x while costing less. if u go am5, can look at the high end gaming rig reco for suggested cpu + mb + ram + cooler (if u want). u should also get the psu from sls, as trying to rma an overseas set is likely going to be a pita.

eh coz 4060ti is greatly overpriced.... totally not worth for that bit of performance...
if 4060 started at around 250-269 it was have been a smash hit.

not a better card objectively, but better value. u pay about half (sometimes less) of what a 4060ti costs, and u get more than 60% of its performance. u also still get the same 8gb of vram, and either card is plenty for d4 or valorant at 1080p or even 1440p.

based on msrp
RTX 4060 8 gb cost much more then RTX 3060 12gb only giving around 10% more performance
given that price 7600 is so much more better based on price.

Ryzen 3600 pair with 3060ti will have any bottleneck for CPU? Managed to snag up a good price for 3060ti but not sure if I need to upgrade cpu

As per pc-builds gaming bottleneck calculator (rasterization, excluding RT),

1080p - CPU bottleneck for normal and CPU-intensive games, but no bottleneck in GPU-intensive games
1440p - no bottleneck
4K - GPU bottleneck

Cool thanks! I will mainly be playing at 1440p

strange that lower res might have cpu bottleneck but not on higher res

Coz low-res render is easy for the GPU, so GPU will be pestering CPU for more instructions to render the next frame i.e. CPU bottleneck if slow CPU can't keep up. In contrast, at high-res, GPU will be working overtime and CPU will be waiting for GPU to finish rendering the 4K frame before receiving next CPU instruction for next frame. "GPU bottleneck", if not too severe, is a good thing coz system is stable and GPU's power is fully utilized. CPU bottleneck is more troublesome though.

id say either dreamcore or invaderpc, good prices with not much horror stories.

most sls shops should have pc building services, though since u are using parts not bought from the store they will likely charge a build fee.
I recommend Invader as I just got a build from them. If the ready to ship builds are not to your liking you can custom the parts. I msg them to custom certain parts and I use their dynacore pricelist as ref. They changed 2 parts from what I wanted which are more ex which is the CM 212 halo cooler and ROG atrix 750w psu(made by seasonic but with the rog bling from what I know). But total price the qouted kinda surprised me as its like about $300 cheaper than if I add the parts price from latest pricelist.

Cable management is ok just needs a bit of tidying up at the psu area. All important drivers and Bios is updated and xmp is set. Free delivery and they give 1 yr onsite warranty and 2 yrs bring in. Just note that window is installed but not activated. But codes are so cheap now. I just got mine yesterday from qoo10 for $6.

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600
Mobo: ASUS TUF GAMING B550M-PLUS WI-FI II
GPU: Asus Tuf Gaming RTX3060Ti O8GB OC Triple Fan GDDR6X
Cooler: CM Hyper 212 Halo White
Ram: KINGSTON FURY BEAST RGB 3600MHz CL17 16gb
System SSD: Adata Legend 850 5000MB/s Gen4 Nvme M.2 1tb
SSD2: Blue SN570/Seagate 3500MB/s Nvme M.2 2tb
PSU: Asus Rog Strix 750W 80+ Gold Full Modular
Case: Montech Air 100 ARGB White TG Casing

Total $1194. Using a ready to ship master mk1 model template which cost $1035 that l upgraded.

Mobo from tuf gaming b520m to b550m(mainly for the wifi 6 and better audio alc1200)

Case from tecware neo m2 to montech air 100( More chio lol)

Psu from silverstone et750g non modular to ROG atrix 750w modular(10yr warranty)

Crucial p3 1tb gen3 to Adata Legend 850 gen 4 1tb
( to make use of the nvme gen 4 m.2 of tuf b550m and also have own heatsink which is grey and bronze that matches the tuf mobo theme well)

Added 2tb WD sn570 gen3 on 2nd gen3 m.2 as I have lots of game to install on gamepass

Added a CM hyper 212 halo white cooler

All for just $159 more which I think its worth it. I think the base price of 1035 already very good but I backside itchy as I like to choose parts lol

Is something happening with PC themes ? Their price list has a shrinking range of options available…

What are your thoughts on buying used graphics cards on Carousell? The prices are sometimes very attractive, some selling RX6600XT for like below $200 with warranty (and claims that they did not use it for mining). Are these too good to be true, since some of the listings have yet to be "sold" for over a month even with such prices.
