definitely for video...

whether it will be white elephant or not depends on ur usage, and how inclined u are bringing it out for shoots?

for me i only use it when i travel...use for video montage...but editing those 4k videos damn xiong for my PC....

yes its more for video and if u like taking stable panaroma photo.

osmo pocket does a very good job in gimble and the pano photo.

however, my pocket has been white elephant for very long already..

I have one but i hardly use it. Its something that is nice to have when you need it. Much better than those mobile phone gimbals (Although i have that too) I use it mainly for videoing my son when he is performing and during holidays.
