Thanks...never knew the rubber thing could be removed. Anyway, its a very strange place to put the cable tie.

Hi! I am still stuck. Can I go back to basic, because I am a bit confused. I want to run BitTorrent from my NAS. What do I need, funplug? (tick) MLDonkey(tick) but not sure whether I also need Transmission and Clutch? Sancho? Anyone can give me some hint? Do I also need to do the debian thing? I am stuck at step 3:-
Step 3
Update your /etc/resolv.conf so that it can resolve hostnames!

i took a look at your logs, your transmission is running and lighttpd is running. can check your socket.txt got "/mnt/HD_a2/downloads/.transmission/daemon/socket"?

Then perhaps you can follow KyleK's guide in setting up transmission and clutch located here. Perhaps you will prefer his guide more.

Having a bit of problem with fun plug.

I'm trying to remove it, but when i rm -rf fun_plug fun_plug.d, permission is denied for all files. Anyone can help?

SOLVED - i "re-installed" funplug and removed the files. It worked. Yay.

there is a jargon for spoiling the NAS device. its called "brick". guess its a general term to use when u stoned those slave machines like routers and cell phones.
