eh those on fonz's fun_plug,

Can you paste me the result of your $LD_LIBRARY_PATH and $LIBDIR in SSH? and also the result of those 2 environment variables while you are in telnet?

Thanks.

one more thought:

Do you have another PC or laptop without firewall to try to connect to? Also on this pc try telnetting to the NAS with 3689.

telnet <ip_addr> 3689

U should have some http errors. It should not have try connecting error msg etc. I also suggest offload your firewall for a few moments first and check if it's really firewall causing the issue

Hope this helps

For fun_plug version 0.4:

export LD_LIBRARY_PATH='/mnt/HD_a2/fun_plug.d/lib'
export LIBDIR='/mnt/HD_a2/fun_plug.d/lib'

Both the same.

Oh okie, then perhaps my set and a few others have not correctly set up fun_plug. Cos the libraries path are to /mnt/HD_a2/fun_plug.d/bin/lib in SSH while it is /mnt/HD_a2/fun_plug.d/lib in telnet which resulted in some libraries not linked in a ssh connection.

Had applied quick fix to it by doing a symlink for the lib.

I see I see. Glad that we located the problem to be the problem of lib path. Having fun with transmission?

some of my testers manage to hit 200+ though. I also managed to hit 200+ on some well seeded torrents.

Earlier in the pages, I have already hit 400+ for Ubuntu CD torrent with transmission. Though I am not using your binaries nor using clutch.

Good for you. My dsl line isn't that fast to hit 400+. KyleK's version works fine too except that it crashes on some occasion. At least that is what he left as comments in my blog.

Warning.... Do not run e2fsck on the drives when filled full with data, especially large chunk of data. It turns your drive into a piece of slow disk I/O turd. It even affects your network file transfer as well as hear your drive grinds when accessing data.

Any comments?
