Recently try to print. Found my printing not working when connected to my DNS-323. Call D-Link and trouble shoot. Told me to downgrade firmware. But still not working. Maybe need to look for onsite help?

I have noticed that under Vista Home Premium, the shared drive won't be able to retain the password. Every time after restarted the pc, it will always ask for the password again. Tested in Vista Business it is able to retain the password. Anybody have the same experience?

After reading the post here it still seems like NAS is still quite far from plug and play.
And most ppl use for BT...configuring it is also a pain it seems.
Can someone here do a clinic where we meet up and config the dame thing togther. Hands on or a step by step instruction will be great!

I plug in a new drive on the left, instead of formatting it, dns323 go and format the drive on the right...

luckily I got backup everything there except ffp, now gotta reinstall ffp again

Both hdd are different sizes. I shutdown normally, plug in the 500GB to the left side, startup, went into the webui it tells me to format the 500GB (size and brand shown is correct), so I click "Next" and after the percent it reboots. after the reboot the right hdd is empty and left hdd is still unformatted...

i using vista ultimate, same thing, everything i must disconnect and map it again.

Yes, because I have different shared folder for different purpose...

Updated: Vista Biz also have same issue...

Hi all need help!!
Suddenly my DNS323 there is no light on the front panel and nether the HD's light .Tried different working network cable also the same.Took the HD out and try to read it direct from computer .it recongised by the comp.Does it mean my DNS faulty?Need some help to trouble shoot before i sent it back for RMA.Anyone know how long will they take to RMA? thks

OK problem solved.The problem lay with the power adaptor.
