MlDonkey broken on Singnet

Anyone have the above problem?

On starhub mldonkey on DNS 323 is ok. while on Singnet, it is 0kb even after switching on for days. Already forward all relevant ports on the gateway.

Time to switch to other clients with encryption?

try courts mega store at tampines, it selling at 229. cheaper than SLS.
btw which harddrive is better seagate or wd?

I would just chose whichever is cheaper and has a longer warranty. I've got WD in mine.

Last few days, I got network problem such as slowing of file transfer and slow internet connection or total lost of connection to the internet.

I finally figure it out that it was the DNS-323 Network storage is slowing down the whole network. I am wondering is there anything I can do to resolve this issue.

I just plug in the DNS-323 without downloading any other software, just use it as is it. 2 HDD of 1 terabyte.

Any help or information given will be appreciated. Thank you.

Has anyone use a 1TB HDD in the 323? Did you ever attached to your PC after that to check?

I had to reformat the HDD because it reformatted the wrong HDD.. Thank goodness I have my old 500GB HDD that was in there before... Now, after reformating both 1TB HDD in the NAS... I noticed that it will have 517.7MB for linux swap, 502MB (empty.. not sure what is is for) and then the main body with 930.5GB

Anyone knows why there is a 502MB empty partition? I have check both HDDs, and both have the same partition... But I don't see that in my old 500GB HDD....

Did some reading in this thread. Just to confirm if my understanding is correct. Now I have 1 500Gb taking one slot....want to add another 1Tb in the other slot.

I cannot just plug in right? DNS323 will prompt me to format both drives?

Have clutch running on the 500Gb....dunno wanna add a 1TB only to end up wiping everything on the 500Gb HDD. Best can slot in PuP and my old 500Gb still like old.

Sorry language in a mess....must be lunch.

dns-323 will not format 2 drives unless u are setting them up in raid

but as a suggestion, i would advise u to unplug ur old hdd first before formating the new one for a piece of mind

Nrichneo, I did not even set it to raid and it still format my 1st drive instead of 2nd, so please take out the first drive and format the new one, then place nack the first. If not, be prepared to lose data!

I guess no one actually tried reading the drive after formating... Oh well. 930GB is still a good amount of space... but would have hoped that it would not waste that 502MB of space.

OK your suggestion is take out 500Gb (currently using) from slot A then slot in new drive into slot B.
Then boot up DNS323. It will then format this new HDD in slot B. Once done. POwer down and insert back old HDD into original slot A.

This time i power up will see 2 drives and my previous installations of funplug, etc for BT will still be there no change no need to reinstall?

Sorry just wanna be sure. Dun want take out put back then DNS323 format my old HDD or don't detect it.
