prepaid cards supposed to be registered one. anyway seems like dnc is pushing to mata and mata also cant do anything since nothing was lost or anyone hurt. thats why these illegal money advertising activities are going on for so long cos got loophole.

My phone number is registered, but that only stop the property spammers.

Citibank still continues to ignore and call, but I put them on blacklist.

Illegal moneylenders have a field day, they just keep spamming.

Every time I email DNC, they say it's police business.
They just refer to police and do nothing else.

And then the ******* SPF also do nothing.

All a ******* waste of taxpayers money.

Just forward it to DNC, they will file a police report for you.
Some of these "credit" company is very smart, they use oversea number to regiater. But in the message itself, there will be a local phone number for you to contact them. So the only way is to file a police report.

A lot of these spammers using WhatsApp to send now, really no way to block these.

The SMS spammers can be blocked - find an app that can block specific keywords in the sms.

For example, before the DNC was activated, all those property idiots could be blocked just by adding the property name.

Add Iskandar to the keyword block and nothing further came through.

My number is in the DNC but recently been getting weird calls... the numbers are local mobile numbers and when I picked it up, the caller is some angmo from dunno what bank... scary

The issue is, DNC is a registry storing a database of numbers opted out of marketing campaigns, but who is enforcing DNC rules and making sure organisations don't violate these rules?

I think it's under IMDA. Any legal companies that do business in SG need to follow. But problem is most of these calls are from illegal loans and bet offerings. They don't give a hoot about scams, loansharking and bets, you think they care about a puny dnc registry?
