Of course we can accept.. because our leaders never protest.. mybfd we have to 听政府的
cannot mix up government and people level, their government never address us as such, so our government cannot raise this as an issue. even though xjp could be referring sg as 坡縣 privately
支那(sanskrit:चीन,Cīna)
its a name given by a buddha in ancient India, Japanese adopted from buddhist script in kanji, glorified it and exported it to the world becoming China.
還是日本人厲害,domo arigato gozaimashita!

this should be the works of the 统战部 Or United front asymmetrical warfare on us. It basically stirred us to to be angry with them and let their own people(who is also unknowingly played) come at us.

The communists... They never view us as friends... They view People's actions party(PAP) as opponents too.

During the 60s to 70s...CCP send out their propaganda units openly all over South East Asia to set up branches to influence and convert people into communists.

We have to be steadfast and vigilance against such a dirty enemy and low down tricks!

some things starts from rumors

if you want people to believe something, just keep repeating until it becomes true

now you got billion ppl in china repeating this, 50years later they will tell you its true n claim back sg

Considering how jingoistic they can be, not surprised if it happens.

Stop peddling this naming convention idioms and practice thing. You don’t impose your practices to another country when you know the opposite side is not happy do you.

Why don’t I call your house a tiny midget doghouse because in China the houses are massive. You won’t like it as well
Sad that my house is really dog house.

I meant they may not know the culture here. So they just call it whatever they like. Their intention and what they present is not what they meant.

Ultimately is up to individuals feeling towards certain things. U can chose to live in anger or carefree

yea. So what I am trying to say is claiming sg is part of china is not their intention.

what their intention is Singapore is not a size of a normal country but fit to be a 县 only. 新加坡县。 which is independent also

Actually not completely agree with you. It’s actually quite ambiguous usage which still not polite.

When positive thing happen in SG, 坡县 usage is like make us associates to them..

Negative, is when we don’t agree with them , they will find why this “county city” don’t stand with them.

their logic are not in sync with the world de.
