ASUS after sales is extremely poor and the quality of their products is ULTIMATE CRAP.

I want to check can I buy wireless Adapter intel card from SIM LIM? How much roughly? And also hard disk and replace them myself? I’m worried the battery may have issues too. Thanks

Can spend so much time ranting about it here but cannot spend $35 to buy the same WiFi card from Aliexpress, open the laptop's rear and replace the card?

You buy from SLS = at least $40 for low end card
Buy from taobao = around $10-25 for super high end wireless AC
Your choice
Anyway if I were you I will try reformat and install before buying any new card to isolate the cause.

I have reformatted twice. Each time it was ok initially but after shutting down and using it the next time the AC-7265 card will show the error and I cannot connect to my wifi.

Subsequently my system starts to Hang and black screen with the system still running backend. I had to hard press to power down.

I have also reinstall the driver before.

Do u recommend that I get the latest AC-9260 wireless card from Taobao and the Samsung EVO 860 Msata 512gb from Sim Lim bizgram?

Anyone has Asus ROG strix gaming laptop or have used any Asus gaming laptop before? The hardisk space for C drive is very small compared to the space for D drive. I cannot install latest windows update into C drive and the system does not allow me to install into the D drive ( seems to be physically separated from C drive). Any solutions?

You can just readjust and accord a larger partition for C drive.

No I cannot do this. I tried the settings available on windows but does not allow me to allocate more to D drive. The c drive and d drive are physically separated in this Asus gaming laptop

It has alrdy been preset by Asus. Only way to enlarge C drive capacity is to reformat and set it properly either as 1 drive or partitioned drive.

The C drive is primary for OS system and program files.
Yours C drive most likely is 128 GB standard.

You may have to moved those non system/program and data files to D drive instead.
Once you have done there would have more space in C drive.

Asus Zenbook is nice and cute .
Even if you said "don't buy Asus" , many people will still buy.

Some Asus promotors at some Challenger stores are pretty female or handsome guy, can you resist their charm when they asked you to look at Asus Zenbooks, or Vivobook, Gaming Laptops?
