Dual HDMI problem

Hi, I have a PS3 & a PC both using HDMI to connect to my display. However, my display only has 1 HDMI port. Every time I want use my PC I had to unplug my PS3 HDMI (vice versa). Is there such thing as HDMI splitter? Where are I get them?

dun have... such thing.

only have a hdmi box... ala a switch box for those printer...

can find at sls... 6th floor

What display ports does your monitor have? If it has DVI, then use DVI to connect your PC to the monitor lor.

No DVI, got VGA but VGA doesn't carry sound signal. The HDMI splitter i posted won't work? :(

Ok then u will have to look for something called "HDMI selector". That takes in two or more inputs and has one output. It also has a selector to decide which input to send to the output.

Do the AMD HD5000 series support sound via DP ?

Maybe TS can go DP for 1 monitor and HDMI for the other.

His 5850 have DP, HDMI, DVI.. But problem is that his TV only have HDMI.... and to TS, your TV only got 1 HDMi port?

I goggled a bit on this issue. It might be possible for TS set up connection like this.

PC > DP to HDMI adapter (with audio) > TV HDMI #1
PS3 > HDMI > TV HDMI #2

But unfortunately TS mentioned in the OP that he only has 1 HDMI port for the display.

So HDMI switcher is the only alternative:
