Wanting to get a gaming PC for 15 yrs old son, for school work and gaming, thought of trying the SI instead of buying those branded like Acer, Dell, etc.
Anyone has any experience in getting a PC from Dynacore, PC THEMES, AFTERSHOCK, Dreamcore? which one is good?

For me, Dynacore since you can still bargain and ask for discounts if you buy bundle with them.
I recommend that you buy your item, choose your own part there and have them assemble it for you.
Get windows 11 or 10 pro online for $20
They also have built-in ready system u can buy online called Invader PC where u can choose to upgrade the part and included with 3 year warranty onsite if u are ok with it

Dynacore is quite competitive if you know what you want. they assemble everything for additional $30.

If you prefer on-site warranty with no headache, get aftershock instead. I have a friend who needed motherboard replacement. If buy from normal shops they dont care after you paid.

When you get older, better pay for warranty instead of the headache of taking time off to deal with distributors

This is a very bad configuration for the price
For 1.5k with PSU and ram upgrades from Invader, you can get at at least a rtx4070/rx7800xt system, which will wipe the rtx 4060 aside
That additional warranty upgrade is not necessary as well

You can take a look at Master M19 (5600+RTX4070), Master M21 (5600+RTX4070S), M16 (5600+7800XT), these are in the 1.5k range after the same psu/ram upgrades

My vote is to go with Dynacore as well. Get the bundle from em and ask for discounts.
More often than not, you will be able to get better parts for the price compared to system builders like Aftershock.

Before i even post this, i had exhausted my effort to check with my son and he had no knowledge on all these, either his group of friends, that prompted me to post here to get the best performance with a good price tag, instead of getting an off shelve brand like Dell, Acer, etc.
I really appreciate all the bros that contributed on the comments with points for me to look into(which i am sort of a know a little bit but not enough knowledge level) but his comment is a no help at all, sounding like those idiots who will tell u that sentence when they cant explain or blur as well but act clever, " u know what i mean, right?", "你知道我的意思， 对吗？”...who dont know our dad is a male.....

As much as possible, i would like to enjoy the moment of a " father-son activity and turn it into a learning experience for him" but unfortunately my inadequate knowledge still need lots of improvement for me to teach him(i have to teach myself first, lol) and i really appreciate all the bros that gave me tips and pointers basing from their own experience that i can make use to minimise hiccup time.

When u talk about Dynacore, are u referring to Invader(their side arm) or Dynacore itself? thanks for your advice!

Why not Mansa?

this is an even worse deal than the first invaderpc config u inquired, since this is basically the same thing but $300 more expensive for no real reason. imo mansa is grossly overpriced, sure u can argue their service centre may be convenient but im not paying a $700+ premium for that.

yes, for gaming is similar and consumes less power too. if ur looking for i5 14400 as cpu, u can consider ryzen 5 5600 as it is very similar in gaming performance. i wouldnt touch 14th gen intel anyway, since it is basically rebranded 13th gen so ur paying more for effectively the same performance.
