Hi all,
I have a question on Broadlink integration to Acorn Fans.
I'm using the Acorn fantasia fan, and after spending hours figuring out the learning of the RF, I found for each programmed button, I cannot just program it to a specific function (e.g. light on/off only, or fan speed only), but the button signal will send a group of function settings (e.g. light on PLUS fan speed etc). Am I doing the programming correctly?
I do realize the the Acorn remote power button actually remembers and send a last status signal, similar to aircons.
Also, the light color button on the Acorn remote behaves weirdly. If I program the light color button signal to 1 smart button on Broadlink, it doesn't work at all.
But if I program the remote light color button's first press signal to 1 smart button, then the remote light color button's 2nd press signal to a 2nd smart button, and then when testing I alternate between pressing the 1st and 2nd smart button on Broadlink, then it will work. It seems to me the Acorn remote's light color button sends an alternating signal for every press.. Anyone having the same experience? Any workarounds for this problem?
Thank you.
