Need to see how ur fan operate. If your fan and light uses 1 gang/2 gang switch with remote, just swap it to the TC2 switch and let the RM PRO or RM mini learn the IR code. If you are are using dial switch(off,1,2,3), then you are out of luck unless you know how to do the conversion.

The fan is operate with remote for both on/off of fan as well as light. Currently fan has not install yet as my house still current under reno.
From the wire attach to the fan, it has live, netural n earth wires.

I have earlier bought a 3 gang wifi switch for testing, when I opened up and found a whole bunch of brown wire, check and found there is no neutral wire. My fan is wired 2 way switch so it can be on in the living room or at the main door switch. I just ordered 11 Yoogee wall switch and a RM pro as there are no neutral wires.

the video you seeing is not pairing with RM Pro. Its just setting up the switch or pairing with another slave switch like u mention.

Correct me if i'm wrong, once you connect the wires, the switch will work as itself a light switch. no need long press or anything. at this point it operates like a normal light switch.

To link to RM Pro, you need to add this switch device to the e-Control app on your phone. once you added the panel, you long press the switch on the panel until u hear a beep. then press the button u wan to configure on the app to link them together to communicate via RM Pro.

the remote is just an add on. its not compulsory

Thanks as I saw earlier post someone mentioned need to buy a remote for Yoogee wall switch to pair with RM pro as I didn't buy the remote so I check the video again to confirm. I will be using Alexa for voice control hence using IHC. I am following Paul Hibbert tutorial on YouTube.https://youtu.be/Lg4HQhN5KXo

Actually you wont need a tc2 switch for it cos your fan is operating on remote control. You just need to program the ir remote control to the rm pro or rm mini via hp app.

If you want to replace the switch to TC2 switch, you can do so but i feel its redundant cos it will just act as power cut off for your light and fan. Kinda useless. Hope that answer your question.

Anyone ordered Broadlink TC2 switches from taobao?
Just want to know if these china version switches are usable in sgp?
Not sure if the tc2 sold by local vendors is another version or not.
Thanks

Not sure about other brand but for tc2 if the LED is below the require wattage, the LED will flicker without the capacitor.

this is only for tc2 or other brand as well? what happens if u don’t? i have a switch that only control a 7W led

Previously i use orvibo smart powerpoint but i figure out that since the rm pro can control 433mhz frequency, might as well i use those pack of 5 powerpoint with 1 rf remote and integrate it to my ihc app. One app to control everything.

thanks for replying. may i ask this flickering will damage the led? if short while won’t really kill my led right? intend to diy, if flicker then only figure out how to do capacitor. Good luck with your roller blind, it’s fun!

I wanted to go the S2 Alarm kit route too then i decided it is redundant and went into the ip cam route instead.
