Just double check... Broadlink have any products such likes Aqara, can remote control on off of TC2 without using phone apps? Physical on off button when I am lazy to open my phone apps....
Or any option available?

Broadlink dont have any switches with remote control. You can try other brands like livolo or others.

Actually for some weird reason, the light can be toggle on and off thru ihc now.

What I did was in "e-controller" app, I long press and selected share config.

After that I went to ihc app, and set up switch. It enabled pairing and I was able to create a scene to turn on and off. But gh does not allow me to activate the command.
Just follow the steps you mentioned, no luck....

1. Long press e-control TC2-2 and then select Share Configuration

2. Switch to IHC and then add device

3. Select smart switch & pick TC2-2, fill in device name & switch 1&2 name, then new switch created

4. DURING pairing process,I long press physical TC2-2 button until my light flickering, at IHC press Green button configuration.

5. Light auto stop flickering and IHC asked me did light stop flickering.... This is the time I think no matter what I tried all unsuccessful to pair....

6. If I press Yes, switch button in IHC not working.... IF I press No, repeat step 4 & 5 infinite tries...

Any ideas for me to get this over?

That's struggle me quite long already😭

After ihc prompt u and u click on yes, u can set up scenes.

Somehow I cannot control it using ihc on device directly. Can only control it thru scenes.

SingTel Mio TV ...
no one managed to succeed getting Broadlink to learn the codes ?
i tried pairing via a universal remote with mio programmed on it
and again failed to get around
perplexing, not sure why cannot
is it using IR frequency beyond the range of Broadlink ?
i tried learning the RF via SingTel TV Go
also no luck ...
so no chance to ask Alexa to switch Mio TV CHs

saw too late ...
now $25.99

I posted once I saw it. Well, you can try to wait for another sale from the official local Broadlink distributor. This was during her National Day promotion this year.

Xiaomi or Aqara is actually another ecosystem. They are using ZigBee instead of standard RF codes. You can't integrate with Broadlink natively. If you just need to extend the IR range of RM Pro, you should just get the Broadlink Black Bean... It's also much cheaper.

It can be done but need a lot of patience to do it.
It is not very straight forward. Need a lot of manual inputs, create scenes and a lots of trial and error.

Cannot. eTouch has 20A single gang switch but it cost $58 😱

so u managed to ?
for a start, which template should i even begin with ? (eg TV, Lamp, etc)
IHC app or e-Control ?
funny thing is i've got an old Sony Remote Commander ...
and it could learn the codes
i tried setting the broadlink with the Sony but that too didn't work

The Mio TV remote is using rolling codes ... on a frequency that is out of broadlink's operating range ...

Using IHC app - Userdefine
You need to setup all the buttons of the remote control one by one. This is very tedious cos need to check physically that the button will correspond to the tv.

Once you set that up, you need to make use of the scene. Example to create NatGeo channel. You need to input button2 , button0, button1. Here is tricky part. You need to do the trail and error to find the lag between each button. It could be 1 to 4 seconds between each button.

That is just for 1 channel. You can to do the same for the rest of the channels.

Previously google home support scene mode and shortcut. So i can just change the shortcut to "change to NatGeo" and make google to "turn on Ch201"

The current google update cant do it anymore. Maybe once google sort out its linkage, we can get that back.
